The most remarkable advantage of this mount the video did not mention is you can fully field strip the rifle and clean it without even touching the scope.

looks like someone took an already existing idea/product and over thought the chit out of it, looks like chit too, "brass stacker" should have been "washer stacker" pretty ghetto if you ask me.
i'm not a fan of optics on an SKS but there are better ways to do it IMO.

bctactical makes one as well, this one seemed to have a pretty solid mounting is what interested me,not to mention the retention of factory rear sights and that it can be left on when the rifle is taken down for cleaning. in fact I had planned to swap out some of the hardware to make it more aesthetically pleasing

Looks like an interesting solution. I'll stick with my Choate mount though. You just can't beat it.

Ya, this is huge plus. I'm going to try this out, as I don't think there is a more stable platform for optics, the cross pin mount is sweet..
