Im trying to track down some brass.Looking for headstamped 338/06 and 6.5/06.Are there any sources in Canada.Thanks

As both of those are wildcat cartridges you won't find stamped brass.

Wholesale Sports sell's 338/06 Weatherby brass, costs more than 2 bucks a piece for it though....


U.S. websites lists it for 20.00 US per 20. Made in Sweden by Norma. Good stuff.

I had a friend bring me back some 338-06 brass from the U.S. a while back.I thiink it cost $70.00 for the 3 boxes.

Contact Dave Freisen @ bcredneck.com he told me he can get any brass I want, he imports from the US, Grafs, starline and among others.

Try ebay. That's where I found my 375 h+h magnum dies and brass. Make sure they will ship to Canada though.

Norma and A-Square are the only manufacturers making head-stamped 338-06 brass that I am aware of. I have never seeen either for sale however here in Western Canada.

Weatherby has deserted the 338-06 and is no longer supplying brass - which was made by Norma - or loaded cartridges. There are some dealers with old stock on hand but once that is gone it will not be replaced.

Nosler is now loading 338-06 cartridges but I don't know what the headstamp reads but I would be willing to bet is says 30-06.

6.5 is a european factory round so it is possible to get properly head stamed brass. Or use a felt-tip
