Finally got around to shooting this thing....had it for 4 or 5 years. It seems to be of WWI vintage that was sold to Brazil as part of the 1937 contract, has the WWI eagle proof, U notch rear sight. I wonder how many of these they sent that were NOS instead of new production? Everything matches, and the bore and guts are in really good shape, plenty of scratches on the exterior though.
Shot well with some 185gr lead SWC, I'm going to try some lead 230gr ball next time around. Not a fan of loading and unloading the moon clips though, going to have to find some auto-rim brass to make life easier :)
Anyone know where I can find some? Higginsons doesn't have it...

These are great guns, I rebuilt one a few years ago and shoot, not as often as it deserves but it sure is fun to take out. You can make a great little tool to remove the empties from the the clips, also, I find that the full moon clips are a lot more fun that those half moon jobbers!!

I have four of these and three of then are in exc condition. carried a lot and fired little. Nice gun to have with the S&W model 25 45acp.

Great little guns. I remember 5 or 6 years ago, these were all over the place for sale (used) compared to now. For whatever reason, they aren't for sale as often anymore.
