LOL,

Jumped into the mid-north? one time, it was so cold the few trees around were exploding, from the sap I gues, damn near froze to death. The next year we jumped into the same place, we all jumped in double the kit to stay warm, it was + 10 for over a week. We wore the runners right off the tobaggons pulling them through the mud and rocks:D

The cold is something that very few folks get to experience first hand. No messen around for sure. On arctic survival, over half the course got frost bite.
If you touched a metal button/rivet on your parka, it felt like you touched a hot plate, had no prints by the time I got out.:D

We are throwing this thread way off base, sorry about that guys!, But I am laughing out loud at you right now Levi, because I know exactly what you are talking about. I no longer have any tolerance for the cold, and when my gig with STS is up, I am heading for the Palm Trees:)

Used it when I was in the Army literally by the gallon cleaning Leopard gun barrels, don't use it now since I feel there are better individual products than the 3 in 1 CLP.

Its highly carcinogenic use gloves, so I’ve been told. But doesn't everything. I find its a bit runny. I use it though because its free :)

CLP is great because once the gun is clean, the CLP will prevent the carbon fouling from sticking on the metal parts... And it will protects parts from corrosion as well as lubricate.. I use it on all my guns. Just wipe off the residues after shooting and reapply CLP! I`ve never experienced any blueing wear with CLP... BUT it is hard on the skin and organism so I do use the blue nitril gloves! Latex gloves will melt... Since I use CLP, I hardly use anything else! (except for grease on some parts and bore cleaner occasionally to remove metal deposits...)
