Break or Port?

Looking to get a muzzle break installed on my 300 SAUM. Just wondering what the opinions are between porting the barrel and installing a break.

Brake. You can remove it. Porting it there for the life of the barrel.

You don't want a break but a brake would be good. No one porting in Canada that I know of.

Get some light weight TTSX bullets and forget the brake.

I had a 338 Magnaported in the eighties.(don't know if they still exist) Muzzle climb was reduced but recoil was still there.
A friend had his 300WM KDF braked. It recoiled about the same as my 25-06.
