Breda / Berreta receiver from Marstar worth it?

Probably salvaged from the fake T2 Garands they were trying to pass off as real. Returned and now being parted out most likely.

Marstar has had those receivers in stock at $100 for the past 3-4 yrs..... Not that the T2 receivers won't wind up in the bin, but they sure seem to have a lot of parts that have been perpetually out of stock......

They have now a supply of T-2 op rods and stocks......

sfrc has them for $32.00 now. i think you will regret not buying one for that price in the future supplies of them will eventually run out
the biggest problem is finding parts especially the operating rods

I bought my Breda, as well as the barrel and bolt, from Trade Ex.

I might just buy two or three more from SFRC, just because.

If anyone is within a road trip to Harrowsmith ON, its worth the drive to SFRC! I made a three hour run there and picked up ten more Beretta receivers to go with the last bunch of Bredas. Great people, great prices!

The stripped receivers have been kicking around for nearly two decades. Back in the good old days of cheap gas, pay freezes and lousy interest rates, we could buy M1s for a couple of hundred bucks apiece. There was a big market for parts in the US. Dealers were snapping up rifles as cheaply as they could, stripping off ALL the parts, dumping them in baggies and selling the kits into the US market. Those receivers stayed here, and have been selling slowly in ones and twos.
