Breda-made and Beretta-made Garand Rear Sight... any good?

I asked this before but never really got an answer. Since these were post war and for Italy, are the sights in yards or meters?
 
You will find them marked for yards and metres.The Breda and Beretta Garand pinions are in yards and were used on the Italian rifles which were produced in .30-06.Beretta also produced the BM59 in 7.62.The pinions for the Bm59 rifles are marked in metres.Both pinions work on either a Garand or an M14,and a US M14 rear sight assembly will work on a Garand. Do not try mixing the Garand or BM59 components with the Chinese rear sights as they are threaded differently and will not work.Threads and mettalurgy are different(softer). Some of the early Chinese M14 clones had rear sight platforms so far off spec that the only rear sight which would work on them were the old Garand locking bar units.
 
There are a myriad of different manufacturers codes.PB means Beretta.BMR or BR means Breda.DRC is a US manufacturer.DRC also subcontracted for IHC and these windage knobs are marked DRC IHC.There are many others. NHC is a US code-New Haven Clock.Some other US windage/elevation knob codes that come to mind are Wright, HRA-W(Wright subcontract for HRA),SSI,LUX,BME,WCE,and there are more.The Chinese also counterfeited the BME mark.
 
So who knows where to get Italian sights in meters? What can I say, I'm a metric guy.
 
You know the reality is that once you get your zero elevation with either sight,you can re-index the elevation knob and go from there. The theoretical yard/meter sight change increments never really work out that precisely on the range.
