Bren Gun on Sons of Guns

I watched that one only becaus of the Bren build. Why the hell would you convert it to 308? It's a Bren. It's supposed to be 303!
Also, they were worried about a weld patch on the recoilless. Why not slide a collar over the area?

That douche Wil said 303 is VERY hard to find and VERY expensive....ummmm reload?

He said the 308 was good ol' US of A , and inexpensive and readily available.....

Lets hope they dont do something stoopid like convert it to x54R

.308.

There was very little drama on this episode, and I have to say I was at least very happy to see both of those poor cut up things restored to their former glory.
I mean when was the last time you saw anything like that here?

Having once owned a Bren the hammering the barrel on and off made me cringe but other than that it looked nice and made me mad that I can't have one again.

You will find Bren guns in: .303, 7.62, 7.92, 30-06 and conversions in: 7.62 x 39 and a host of other calibres.
Once you get into the ZB parent series the list is endless.

I laughed as well when they said .303 british was hard to find... sure it costs a little bit more, but heck, pretty much every store that has guns carries it... even Canadian tire stocks it

ya i saw it.the reason they gave for changing to .308 was because 303 ammo was very hard to find???????.i lived in texas for 12 yr never had problems finding 303 brit.and of course we all know it's every where in canada.just another scripted bs "reality"show.just my opinion
