Not many if any more than 5. I now know of 5 (you) myself included. Pretty rare for sure. We should post pics, to rub it in a bit. I will take some this evening. :p
 
Never owned a Bren Ten but I did have a $2,500 silk suit that I wore with a $9 t-shirt.... :p

Take a look through the BREN-TEN forum. It looks like even the "connected insider" is apparently giving up on ever seeing Vltor's production. I still hope that we will see it, but things are looking grim. On the bright side, with all the boys down south getting returns on their deposits with Bass Pro, on the off chance that the pistol makes it to release, a guy might stand a chance at getting one imported up here. Here is me crossing my fingers.
 
It is really disappointing news to hear of the troubles Vltor is having. They made several improvements to the original Bren-Ten design. If it ever makes it into production it'll be a hell of a gun.
 
Sweet looking gun, but man, that's gotta be one of the dumbest things i've seen engraved on a firearm from the factory (regarding the manual). Are there loading and firing tips engraved on the other side?

How well do they work? I've read reports of poor quality control on some of these guns.
 
I just finished reading Bren Ten: the Heir Apparent. It almost looks like Vltor has been reading from the D&D play book on some of there actions - deposits etc.
I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the Bren Ten history.

i also have a bren 10, near mint, came with 4 mags {hard to believe} oak display case, custom cleaning kit, and a galco miami classic shoulder holster.

I wonder, were the lucky 5 purchased from distributors in Canada or imported through the US?
 
thanks for the kidney offer {hunter1970}, but i am ok for the moment.
i picked it up down south in a little backwater gunstore in Kentucky......i think i even heard banjos in the bushes.
i should dig it out and take it shooting....only has 1 mag of ammo thru it.
 
I am considering having an original Bren Ten imported from the U.S. is Vltor doesn't come through. My 10mm collection will never be complete otherwise:).
