Yeh they work great at 50 yards try getting them to hit paper at 150 or 200 yards, in southern ontario you cant use rifles where we hunt deer...

ummm.......self imposed 100 yd limit.I use an iron sighted fully rifled 870, not looking for more distance.Or to pay$3-5 per round.I bought Platinum Tips and factory 1 oz sabots. So pricey, I'm saving them. For what? I dunno. If I was using an NEF or bolt slug gun with scope, it may be worth using the Platinum Tips or Hornady slugs. But for my setup, and use, those Lymans are great.
I can actually shoot 20 rounds for under $50.
