Just wondering if anyone out there is keeping their own Bailey, Acrow, or MGB, bridges (you know, "just in case") and would be interested in surplussed parts?

I have an old RCE type friend who was supervising the erecting of various of these bridges as a private contractor in the past. I don't know if he is still into this. Too bad I didn't see this query yesterday as we have been doing some military contract work together this week and I could have asked him. We all have to quit sometime.

Bailey bridges are still giving good service here and there.

There is one that's been in constant service for about 10 years now, in Coalmont, just outside of Princeton BC.

I did some poking around and it turns out that there are 2 still up in Toronto. One is over Lakeshore Boulevard (Lakeshore Boulevard Bailey Bridge), and the other is up along Old Finch Avenue (Old Finch Avenue Bailey Bridge) .

YA, there is part of one still being used in Wells gray provincial park in BC. It is located over the mushbowl. Just saw again a few weeks ago.
