That's a bummer and will complicate logistics of first adopters vs those wanting to get in at the Gen2 level. Hopefully first adopters will get first dibs at choosing which one they want.

I have switched my pre-order to the Marstar Mk-15NSR with the 15" Handguard and Steel Barrel Nut. I was not confident that my original pre-order with a different vendor would get me the upgraded "NSR" version, so I started over with the sure thing. I don't care at this point if it takes a little longer to receive the version that I want. Patience is a virtue.....

I just did the same exact thing. Uxbridge was bringing in Gravel attached to my April pre-order. I could live with the 12" handguard but not the QC items if a better version is a month farther out. Already getting late into the shooting calendar in Edmonton going to be breaking it in in suboptimal conditions either way.

Same. I cancelled my preorder for the original one and ordered the new 15” FDE one from bullseye.

To be honest this is such a poor product launch. We have like a handful of options and they choose to ******* the ordering of one of the best ones. Who releases a new upgraded version of a product before the first version is even shippped to customers.

Marketing guys need to go back to school.

I applaud you guys for doing so, will have to see if other vendors follow suit. Will definitely seperate good vendors from the bad.

order placed for the 15" FDE with bullseye. Thank god I waited for all the QC issues to be fixed.
now to wait for the Sterling R9 revision to happen, it's gonna be great to be at the range this fall/winter season.

When I asked, the response I got was "The version we are expecting in Canada is correctly depicted on our website" so either that person doesn't know about the new ones, or pre-orders for the original are getting shafted

Great customer service! If someone wanted to keep the shorter handguard order for now and pay for the longer handguard later, will the new handguard fit on the rifles with shorter handguard, or is there too much difference on barrel nut geometry?

My Makasi is coming from RDSC. They told me they have no idea which version is coming. I'd actually prefer the short handguard.

Excuse my ignorance. I am spending more time on here after a 10 year hiatus. I am seeing more and more of these types of guns being approved in canada, it seems like. Is there a reason, I thought libs were banning anything with plastic and semi auto.
