Brigade Makasi MK15 We're back in business!!

Disregard folks...nothing to see here.

Enough already, dude - we get your point. This is at least your third post slagging the Makasi since that one "lemon" was reviewed. You have cancelled your order - we heard you the first time. Why not go discuss the positives of your Carmel order in one of those threads, rather than continuing to run down a rifle you are no longer interested in? At this point you are adding zero of value to the Makasi discussion and are in fact, becoming distracting with your evident self-satisfaction regarding a decision any one of us is free to make....

I'm sure there will be a gunsmith or two that will specialize in the makasi.

I'd send it in for the helicoil for the handguard studs. At that time they can dress up anything else.

Hello Calgery shooting center, you interested?

Uh, I started the thread. I thought it prudent to close it so folks aren't burned due to a thread I started. Nothing self-satisfying about my intent or motivations. I wanted the rifle to fill my AR void. It simply won't and I don't want others to be unintentionally misguided by me or this thread.

The regularly scheduled Bartok chimpout where he acts like a childish communist trying to control peoples freedom of speech because he cannot cope with reality.

Well, I don't know about that. He just misinterpreted my intentions is all.

As usual, Grove shows up with absolutely nothing useful to add aside from the childish insults that he seems to delight in sending my way. I swear the guy must be a spoiled 14 year old. It is evidently time to repopulate my "Ignore" list based on this latest Grove contribution of baseless vitriol. As usual, he has nothing new or useful to contribute, just personal insults. Which leaves me wondering whether to pity him for his lack of relevance, or despise him for his irritating mosquito-like behaviour. Probably both, I suppose....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I messaged through to Dan at Brigade Manufacturing on Instagram (@brigademfg) to point out the manual for the Makasi still needed to have the suppressed/unsuppressed settings on the gas system corrected, and they fixed it! The corrected manual can be found at https://brigadefirearms.com/pub/media/wysiwyg/MAKASI_Manual.pdf , with the manual link on their web page pointing to the correct version.

My hunch is that the NR will turn out to be just fine for most people, and then FOMO will kick in. There will be some lemons for sure, but once there are more samples around the perception will not be skewed as much due to the current low circulation number and published comments created by actual owners.

Of course this a hunch, could be wrong.
