I got the carbine length items but don’t have two kiwis??I'd say similar to an AR-15 but you need carbine length gas port to feed the piston. And two keyways for bolts?
I think the keyways are for pinning the Makasi gas block. The barrel will need to be drilled at the top for the gas block cross pin. I don’t know what the second keyway is for as the Makasi only needs one pin for the gas block not including the two set screws on the bottom?I got the carbine length items but don’t have two kiwis??
I guess I’d need a verifier as well?
Unless you are trying to beat the tariffs, it is likely worth waiting for the NR version, as supposedly they are trying to address QC issues from some Canadian restricted early adopters. If you get a restricted version, it may more of a dice role, since may be older stock. Was thinking I could get the restricted model and just pop on an 18.6 barrel I have kicking around
I ordered one too. I don’t like the look of the magpul stock on it. The magpul stock does look good on my Henry homesteader though.I picked one up after seeing his video from optics planet. After the duties, weak dollar, and fedex fees, it has ended up being the same price as a decent gun.
It is a beautifully well made stock though and I'm dying to get it on the Makasi, whenever that may be.
Looks promising. At this point we all just want a rifle that works as it should.New video - 1000 rd review.
Mid August. Are we any closer to an idea when these are landing in country?

Saw someone shooting the restricted variant today at the range and that thing was going off without a hitch! Not one single issue and he was rapid fire dumping rounds, cannot wait for mine to arrive!!
He definitely has used Cross Mags in his past videos, not sure about the others.Anyone know what mags he is using in the video?
