It uses AR barrels so actually doing the swap is as easy as on an AR. But the barrel does need to be pinned and drilled, which will take a bit of work and requires a jig.

Wonder how hard would it be to convert to 6ARC if it’s the same barrel extension

TNA is dropping a modular faux suppressor that can be flip between covering the barrel inverted style or front of barrel mode. It has rings to simulate baffle stack holders that allow you to have it as short or as long as you want. It should be useful if you want to disguise part of the length of the NR Makasi's barrel.
