Bring back the oldies...

Well I'd like to see Win bring back the 1910 401 auto, what a nice deer hunting rifle (for an auto of course:rolleyes: ) & the 86 in a .33wcf & 45-90 SRC:)

& just to keep Joe happy a 1899 Sav rifle in 38-55, what a nice handling, slim, nice pointing hunting rifle they are:) :)

& a new Win 100 carbine in 358:)

OOooo...this could go on for a while

bring back the A5 in all guages, and add in a .410 and 10 guage while they're at it

the Winchester 1892 in .218 Bee, .25-20, .32-20, .38-40, .44-40, .45LC & .44 Mag

Bring These Babies Back!

I'd like to see Browning do another run of the 1886 SRC's in .45-70 Govt. and the B-92 SRC's in .357 & .44 Mag. :D

It'd be nice to see the Winchester 1895 chambered for .303 Brit, 7.62x54R, 7x65R, 8x57JRS and a few other nice cartridges.
It'd also be nice to see some Martini Henrys built and modified for rimless cartridges too like 7x57, 280 Rem, 257 Roberts and 9.3x62.
AIA here in Australia makes a good No.4 action style rifle but it would be nice to see them chambered for 303 Brit as well as .308 or 7.62x39.

Winchester Model 1890

Bring back the Model 1890 Winchester. I would pay good money for a light and small PUMP ACTION .22 LR.

Many of you know on CGN know that I have a weakness for this rifle. I had one posted for a while for sale and when it sold, I went out and bought two more identical ones (in more or less functional condition) and with the parts from both, I am presently re-conditioning and re-assembling one good one with all original parts.

If you know anyone who has one and it is in working condition, I suggest you go out in some field somewhere and pop off a few 100 rounds. You will have a great time, I guaranty it.

Regards
Robert

I'll catch h*ll for this, but....I'd like to see Remington make the Jamamatic and the 7600 in .260, 7mm-08, and .358 Win.
I'd also like to see the '99 reintroduced in .300 and.250; I have a .250 Takedown but faunch for a solid frame. Go figger.
Make the new long barrel model 94 in .356 and I'll buy one TODAY!

I think Cat hit the nail on the head. Most of my favourites have been brought back (Ballard, Highwall, Rolling Block, Sharps) but at a hell of a price.

cheers mooncoon
