I wish Ruger would fulfill my request.
I've written them several times and it's under consideration.
Which means never...oh well.

They just discontinued the 77/22/357/44, i think chances are slim that another pistol cal long gun is coming anytime soon. Maybe in an American.

Forgive my ignorance. Are these just blowback design?

PC9 and 40 were I believe. Big lump in forearm connected to the bolt or some such idea. I handled one a couple of years ago, was tempted to buy in but as it was restricted I passed.

I really like the pc9 design as the controls seem to be very intuitive.
I like the style better than the jr carbine I had.

I was emailed a survey from ruger today and one of the questions they asked is what would you like to see ruger develop as a new firearm. Of the dozen or so choices given were a pistol caliber semiautomatic carbine and a revolver caliber semiautomatic carbine. So the idea seems to be on their radar. This! I've and done the same

These were expensive little rifles to make from what I've heard , I remember wanting one when they first came out , and it was around $800 or more Canadian back in the late 90's , and I can't see them making them again , the competition from Cheaper pistol cal carbines is just to great right now .

If you can find one , grab it , they're solid little carbines , but not a lot to customize like some of the new PC's out there , but then again , Ruger got it right the first time.
I've use this one on a steel plate out to 400m with a 6moa red dot , you could shoot , put the rifle down and watch where the round hit .lol
Obligatory cell phone picture of my PC4 .
