Bringing a LaRue home

Yea I think Questar will work with you to import the rifle you want, but it's a little expensive of a service... however, I don't think LaRue ships their stuff to Canada... apparently they don't like us or something like that...

If you are exporting stuff out of the US, Prophet River is the only way to go. By the time everything is said and totaled up it usually cost around $333. That's with shipping and taxes included.

Have you already ordered your OBR? Cause its like a half year wait for americans.

You will have to do a #### ton of paper work, and even then you probably wont get export permission.

Contact Justin at The Shooting Edge to discuss your commercial OBR needs, keep in mind that rifles have already been exported into Canada, these are designated for LE/MIL test and evaluation.

Haven't ordered anything yet, still doing the legwork. I didn't think it would be a big deal as my friend said he had no trouble ordering up his Robinson Armament rifle. I'm not in any hurry, hell how long have some of you folks waited for your XCR-M's?

That sure is a beautiful rifle cqbservices!

Dude, just do as much research as you can...especially if you're gonna' go about it on your own. There's always something else that you didn't know you needed to know...you know?!

Just my opinion, but, just find the one that you want in the US, call up Prophet River and speak to Melissa. She'll give you all of the info you need...purchase the rifle, and have it sent to their FFL. They'll take care of everything else...and their fee is quite reasonable...

My 2 cents...

I've got some good leads so thanks to everyone that had something positive to offer me.
Cheers

you simply cannot drive own and pickup your rifle with the export documents you need too get all the paperwork in order first and use a licencesd FFl dealer how has an exporter certificate and then have the item shipped to Canada to a dealer (restricted and prohibs only ) non restricted firearms can be shipped directly to you

That would be $100's cheaper than what they will cost here.....if they ever show up.
You can save $500+ buy importing your own KAC. So why not do it with the other 'Premium' rifles.

What's with all the guys being dicks to this fellow? Its not his fault the firearms regs are so outrageously stupid nowadays, he is merely making an inquiry.

Seems like alot of you have gotten so used to being treated like criminals that you perceive the depravity of your freedom as normal.
