I am headed to Texas in early march to hunt hogs and possibly exotics, more specifically a blackbuck. Does anyone have any experience bringing back meat from the states and or game heads? Id rather not have my taxidermy done in the states.
I have read canadas importing laws regarding bringing meat back and it states for hunters all they need is a tag to prove they shot it.
So my question is what do I need if I shoot it on a ranch where no tag is required?
Just looking for some input and advice, im sure ill have to end up calling canadian border services but I thought this would be a start.
