bringing lots of ammo to the range

The board of directors is pretty fuddy. I'm trying to get them to see that we don't need any more rules than the CFO demands.

Ha...crazy. Although our (old) range briefly had a "single round only loaded into the rifle" rule. I think because it was copied from some other range's rule. Everyone ignored it, until someone brought it up at a meeting and everyone was like "huh? We have that rule?" :)

It was quickly changed when it was clear it was pointless and detrimental to anyone that wanted to ensure his hunting rifle operated properly.

For milsurp rounds, I use metal ammo cans, shotgun shells goes into plastic ammo can and pistol calibers and rim fire I do the Hickock45 thing with a bunch of these pretty nice cigar boxes that I found at the local thrift store for a couple of dollars. Although recently I have been eyeing these plastic nuts and bolts containers with the separate compartments so that I could separate and bring a variety of factory and hand loads.

For my 10/22's I love my H3CR range kit, which was designed and manufactured for 22 lr RIFLES and says right on it "NOT FOR USE WITH THE RUGER CHARGER PISTOL" and my GSG 110 rd drums which ALSO say on them "Designed for Ruger 10/22 RIFLES" and strangely they also say "Do not use Waxed Ammunition" but the darn things jam like crazy if I load them with anything that ISN"T waxed. I tried to load one up with thunderbolts and I couldn't even manage to get it loaded, it kept getting stuck. Then I loaded it with waxed CCI blazer and it loaded right up with zero difficulty, go figure.

Surplus Steel ammo cans. Labeled with the caliber on the outside (ptouch label maker).

Now. Where can I get one of those mags? I used to have one before I sold my SR-22.
