British Columbia hunting

Same here I rarely do day trips for big game. My only issue is once I get into the bush I have this uncontrollable urge to have a fire and drink some beer, which always leads to me being up later than planned...

When I started hunting a certain area 3 hrs from surrey , I would go solo and leave for 2 days, arriving late the night before the first day.
More often then not I would be driving home with a buck on the first day due to it being too warm to keep a deer overnight.
Most places aren't like that but it does prove that there is excellent hunting within a reasonable distance from Vancouver.

If you put some time in up the sea to sky or go out towards chilliwack or Harrison you will get deer just gotta put your time in and find some spots, my first 2 trips out to chilliwack were day trips and two blacktails down, its a lot harder hunting but less pressure of people because supposivly the hunting sucks..... in all Princeton, Lytton ect isn’t that far.... you could also look into some island off of Vancouver to hunt..........that’s all I’ll say about that

Three different types of deer, moose, elk, bison, bear, mountain goat, three or four species of sheep, caribou, cougar, lynx, I’m sure there’s more I’ve missed. Not to mention the fishing 8)

B.C. has a lot to offer.
