Yea, you essentially buy a lottery ticket where you pick two choices for where and what you want to hunt (out of the LEH synopsis for that year). Costs 6$ and you get put into the lottery for those two choices.

Also included in the synopsis are basic odds so some areas have a better chance than others, mainly based on how many people applied for those places last time and how many spots are available in that area.

Not enough sheep I guess so there is like one or two authorizations and it's only like 3.5 hours from vancouver thus making it a popular destination. Lots of demand = ####ty odds
 
LEH Draws

My wife and I both put in for Moose and a Doe. Last year she got a Doe draw and I got a Moose draw, so this year I'm not holding my breath for anything.
 
apparently the leh is still running on time and will be out tommorow. i have my fingers crossed so badly i want en leh like so bad my family hasnt had one in about 8 years or more. my dad put in for elk in the same place as me moose in a different region and bison aswell, and my brother just for cow moose.
 
Roosevelt elk, moose, does. Would love a bison hunt but can't afford it right now, therefore. no ticket purchased. I hate hearing stories of huys hetting drawn for stuff when they knew they wouldn't go in the first place
 
The girlfriend and I both put in for bull moose in 7-15. The odds are about 1:6 so between the two of us we should have a 33% chance.
 
roosevelt,moose and grizzly.odds are 4.5:1 for moose,fingers are crossed,been putting in for moose in 7-06 for 10 years now and haven`t had any luck yet.hoping this is my year.my parents have both been drawn twice in this area twice before.

We are hoping to have the draw completed today. The results will hopefully be available later this afternoon by phone. Our number is 250-356-5142.
The results will be available on our website during the first week of July.

Just got off the phone with them.Results will not be posted until tuesday but was told that you can phone this afternoon and they should have the results.

I talked to them today, and they were up until 5:00AM this morning entering numbers, and back hard at it already by 8:30.... so cut them some slack. The fella I talked to said they had the VAST majority of the cards show up in the last couple days.........

If more of us had our $hit together and sent them in earlier...maybe we would already have our results!

Regardless, a few days won't make or break my hunting season....
