I Have a couple of brno 21h's and havent played around with action or barrel screws torque, what do yours like? I have A round receiver in 6.5x57 and a square receiver in 7x57. I love these little rifles! cant believe I had not owned one sooner.

Thanks in advance.

I have owned more than a few for quite some time and I find that they are quite forgiving re torque. The mid action and rear action screws are bushed so they tighten down to a stop point, so that gets snugged down good. I would say about 50 in lbs.
The front bbl/forearm screw I like to set firm with the slot indexed front to rear - I would guess about 35 in lbs or so.
I find as long as everything is snug it is better than trying to find some "loose" fit for the forearm screw.
I believe they were designed to be snug up front and I do not understand why some I have purchased have that forearm screw missing. I replace it as soon as I can find or make a replacement.
Wonderful, wonderful rifles that are accurate without messing with them.

I have a 21H in 7x57 and it is so predictably accurate it is boring to shoot.Usually one ragged hole with either 140 or 160gr.Old World style and craftsmanship.

Thank you gentelmen! Great info. I was not tightening front screw that tight. I have had my 6.5 for a few years now and I fell in love with these rifles. I got my square bridge 7mm just a month ago and haven't had a chance to shoot it. The stock was painted brown, so I refinished it with tung oil, very happy with it. Any other tips or tricks with these rifles. Or know where to find a full stock one?
