Hi Rob thats a really nice!
Has it ever been reblued or the stock refinished or is it all original?
It was totally original and in like new condition.
You're killing me!
Next time the spirit moves you to sell another one, PM me first!I was told that it came out of an auction in England. However, since I could not put a scope on it or really use it very much without it losing its value as a minty collectors piece, I sold it to a serious Brno collector a few years back. All I have are a few pictures. I honestly prefer my scoped 1951. It still has a near perfect bore and is very accurate.

Here are mine. 1951 21H 8x57, 1950 21H 7x64, and 1949 22F 7x57 I especially like the handling of the 22F. I have the original double set triggers and bolt shroud / safety saved to restore it to original if I want at a later date, but prefer shooting it this way with single trigger and three position side swing safety. The 8x57 has had a refinish since this picture and is lovely. I've just posted the 7x64 on the EE.

Where can one buy those triggers and safeties/shrouds ?The trigger on the 22F is made by Recknagel. It was fitted by Ralf Martini into a spare trigger plate taken from another Brno rifle. I also put a Recknagel 3 position safety and bolt shroud on the top rifle. The other two (with scopes) have been fitted with a Dakota 3 position safety/shroud. In my opinion the trigger and safety upgrades are important to make these rifles work their best.
How did your load development go?I finally received my jeweled bolt back from the gunsmith. The smith stated that the bolt is a very heavy and hard steel, he had to hold the press between 10 to 15 seconds for each jewel............an indication of great quality steel. Now off to the rifle range on Sunday or Monday to conduct my first phase of load development.

Sounds a lot like my rifle. Send me a PM, with your phone number I’ve got some 175gr RN bullets squirreled away. I’ll give you some to try.She doesn't like the 160gr. bullets. I developed 4 different powder loads for each powder, using IMR-4350 and Reloder 22. Worst group was 2.0" and the best was 1.5". I'm going to try the 175 gr. next. I tried to locate round nose bullets, however to no avail...........I think they don't make them anymore. Closest bullet that I can find is the Speer Grand Slam. A heavier/longer flat base bullet, with a short distance from tip to ogive would possibly be good for this 1:9.5 twist, long throat rifle..............I love the challenge and journey!

I’m getting about the same groups so far with mine. Except with a 160gr game king and 46gr of IMR4350 and a very hot load of H414 and a 154gr Hornady SP.
I’ve got those All seated quite far out and they average about 1 1/4”.
I’m probably not a good enough shot under hunting conditions that there will be any difference accuracy wise between that and a smaller group anyway.
