Hey all, got another of my fathers guns I am looking to get a value on. Not interested in selling this one, memories of groundhogs at 150+ yards...... great gun in excellent condition, BRNO ZKK in .233 should also be from the late 80's-early 90's What would it go for if I need to buy another one?

Thanks

Mike

The ZKK's in .223 and .222 don't seem to go for as much as the ones in .308 or .243 but they are nice Brno's all the same. My dad has one in .223 and its a tack driver with all sorts of ammo.

As for value, I'm not sure. A lot depends on condition of course but roughly in the 5-700 range if in nice shape?

Edited to add that the last two digits of the year it was made are stamped by the firing proof on the barrel and receiver.

Its in great shape, Thanks, I will not be getting rid of this one. I remember betting which eye to hit the groundhog in.... The farmer in cambridge loved us because a groundhog hole made his horse lame, He would call us a couple of times a year to come to his property to shoot as many as we could. His wife even made us lunch of sandwiches and lemonade!.

Good memories

A few Canadian Tire Stores sold the 223 ZKK. They were pretty inexpensive iirc $299? at the time. Not sure folks knew what good value they were at the time. Usually wood was plain and checkering was poor. Was not uncommon for the crappy stock varnish to hide some nice walnut though. Also the actions could be rough 'out of the box' and didn't feel as slick as a Remington. What set them apart was the all steel construction AND invariably great accuracy....

Yeah I remember I bought one at that price in 1987.
