Just wondering if people can give me a fair value on a very good condition BRNO .22lr automatic dated 61...

A good pic would help a little bit but if it functions good, in very good condition,have the magazine and front sight hood it would sell between 375 and 450$.
Got mine for 450$ shipped and it's one hell of a nice semi!! This one is dated 60.

I think $500 would be fair with original and correct sights, swivels, magazine, and buttplate and no mods or refinish. Would also depend on whether it functions 100% or has issues - stovepipes or light primer strikes.

The question is, why would somebody buy a new mass-produced POS over something like the Brno 581 for under $500?

I have 2, one mint, paid around $600. One fair for $250. Great guns.

I had 2 a 60's dated one and a 72 dated 581's. Sold the older one only because the 72 was mint, but the older one had a better stock and millwork!
Payed $500 and $550 for the CZ's
Great gun, wish I used it more!!
Pay the money if it operates and hasn't been abused , well worth the money!
