I have a Brno 2-E and the original metal magazine went missing some time ago. I ended up buying a couple of plastic ones and the rifle does not seem to like them - ejection is an issue as I think the lip at the back of the magazine is too high. I understand that the CZ455 magazine is supposed to work, but I have a feeling the plastic mags I have are for the CZ. Does anyone still make/carry the metal version of the magazine? Are CZ455's originally supplied with metal magazines?

Lastly, it seems that the plastic magazines are manufactured by a variety of companies - do you have any suggestions for high quality versions?

Thanks.

The CZ452 magazines work in BRNO's, CZ455 magazines are different as per CZUSA. All other reports I've seen say the magazines are interchangeable. There are some threads on rimfirecentral reporting some issues with plastic mags vs metal mags
Metal magazines were available at Williams Arms in Port Perry, ON. Try them.

Bullseye in London and Reliable gun in BC both sell 10 round steel magazines for the 452/455. I have one CZ. steel mag and several CZ polymer ones and there is a bit of difference in them. I went mostly with polymer for cost but the steel ones are probably worth the extra cost. Both places were having sales in the last week so check them out. Have bought form both and had good service

Another thing came to mind, Wolverine Supplies are the official CZ importers/warranty center. They are a great retailer as well, I'm sure you will find help and advice there.

Crappy tire also has steel mags in langford in Vancouver island

I do have a second question anyone scene a 5rnd cz mag in steel for sale.

55$ for steel 5 round at site sponsor Bullseye, 4 in stock as of 7 pm. Check Reliable as well they may have stock.
