I have an older Brno model 5 22 LR and was wondering where or if any replacement 5 shot magazines were available. This gun was manufactured in the early 1970's and is a tack driver as far as rimfires are concerned. Would a clip from the new CZ Americans be interchangeable? I still have the original clip but left the thing on the bumper of my truck as I was packing up from a gopher shoot. The clip made a 150 km trip home on the bumper without falling off if you can believe that! Just reinforced the need for a spare as this one could have been easily lost. Thanks.
 
In my mind it would detract from the over handiness of the rifle as well, sleek and streamlined vs a big unwieldy mag hanging out the bottom (in the case of a 40 round one anyways)

The current CZ mags fit all of the old BRNO actions, FS
