I bought a couple .22s years ago cause they were cheap and I had lots of time for gophers (350 for two of them and a couple bricks of ammo if I remember right). I gave 1 to a buddy for helping combine and the other has been in the back of the cabinet for at least 20 years. Digging stuff out as I'm thinking about selling a few to finance a precision rifle and I happened to find this one and googled it.
I knew it was a tack driver but had no idea it was desirable. Its a very heavy barrel model 4 with no sights and I refinished the stock years ago so it looks better (the original stock was almost white).
I'm wondering if there are any chassis systems for it? Is it the same as any of the CZ models? I figure its so heavy already I may as well make a tactical bench gun out of it.
