BRNO ZG-47 pics

Looks great man!

I have my Talley QD's coming from Corlanes as we speak.:)

I also have a set of the CZ rings if you decide you don't want the QD's, perhaps we could make a swap as I seem to have another Brno that needs rings too! These ones are the fixed type, no wings to rub your back!:p

Have you had her to the range yet?

Funny how old threads can get resurrected.

I have taken it to the range, not since October though. It shot really well, I'm very happy with it.
I also used it to take my 06 LEH cow moose.
Sorry for the lousy pic.

My only problem is the aftermarket recoil pad the previous owner put on, ugly and it doesn't grip my shoulder.

Noel, is the recoil pad on your 9.3x62 factory or aftermarket, if it's factory could you post a pic?
I want to find something that looks close to the original, I just need an idea of what it looks like.

Thanks.

Howdy!

From what limited Brno info I have, they all came furnished with a thin hard black rubber pad (bakelite).
My 9,3 has been sacrificed too and it wasn't the prettiest. I will likely swap it out for either a kick-eeze (sp) pad or a limbsaver.

What is the length of pull on your ZG from the butt to the trigger? Also, let me know what the thickness of the existing pad is so we can tell whether it has had the stock trimmed or not.;)
If we are lucky and it is still full length then I can keep an eye out for a bakelite pad for you at the Calgary show on Easter weekend. If it has been shortened, it might fit you as well if it gets an inch or so shorter.

No problem man, My ZG is getting glass bedded at the moment but I will measure it to see how it compares.
More importantly, you should take it off and see how comfortable it is without the pad there. THe Bakelite pads are maybe 3/16" to 1/4" thick so it is really going to change the fit/feel of things.
Let me know what the width and length of the pad base are too so we find a pad big enough to cover the butt of the stock.
