Brno Zkk 602 Pictures

Very nice, but why on earth do they put set triggers on the big(ger) bores? How's the trigger when unset? My little .222 Fox has a DST (which makes sense on a varmint rifle) but the trigger pull of the "normal" trigger is ghastly.

I had a chance to buy one of these not long ago but opted not to considering the CZ 550 Safari Magnum is basically an improved version.

Exactly how is the 550 an improved version over the older 602?

I have a few ZKK's and agree that some can be a little rough initially - they get a lot better with use and can be made VERY slick. I have examined a couple of 550's pretty closely that seemed to have "looser" actions and nicer finish. If I didn't have ZKK's I would certainly be looking to buy a 550....
Some of the wood on the ZKK's was/is exceptional ... easily exhibition quality..

Sometimes you need to take off the ugly factory finish to find it though

Have owned a CZ-550 FS in .30-06
Frankly I was dissapointed.
The ZKK602 is very rugged to the feel and very tight.

I sold this particular rifle quite a while a go now because it weighed a ton. I could not carry her in the field without a struggle. So there must be a compromise.

I'm a bad boy and chopped the barrel on my 602. I've also changed the scope to a Leupy 1.5-5x20.
