Go for it, then post a review here! I've been wondering myself.....

I'm saving up for an AR-15. But if the Mark IIBV is good, I'll add it to my "to buy" list.

I owned a model 3, smoothest bolt of any rifle I have ever had.
I sold it to a guy in NFLD. The mod. 4 ostensably has a better trigger, but the trigger on my model 3 was great. A good shooter is worth about $400 with sights.

Just got the Brno ZKM452, "Modell 2-E" (that's what it says on the owner's manual - two "ll's" and all...) .
Wow! Some of the nicest wood I've ever seen! The rear sight is very cool - quick adjust. Action is smooth. Weight and balance are about as perfect as you can get and forestock is nicely contoured.
I'm thinking my daughter might let this rifle distract her from her studies and compromise her school grades. I should probably keep this for myself and get her an old Cooey...
One thing I noticed, though, was the safety was pretty stiff. I asked my buddy about it (he bought it new) and he said he never used the safety, so I guess it needs to be worked in.
What a nice gun!

p.s. The ownership says it's a "Bruno". Lol!

The safety on mine is quite stiff too. But its not stiff from lack of use, rather its rom the mechanical action it performs. I doubt that it will wear-in from use.

Mind you, I never use the safety either, so for me, its moot.

I wouldn't use the safety (much) either but I want my daughter to get used to using it for when she moves up to bigger calibre rifles and hunting.
