I have a S&W Mod 10 with Cdn broad arrow . 38S&W with lanyard ring Ser #726###
Can anyone let me know manuf. date ? I appreciate that condition largely determines value but a value range would also be very much appreciated
Thanks all for your help

The numbered models came a little later after the war. In the early to mid 50's I believe. Instead of a model 10 I suspect that what you have is the father or grandfather to the 10 which is the wartime designation "Victory" model. The C-broad arrow marking signifies that it is an ex-military handgun.

There are websites out there with dating codes. I've just never looked them up.

Value? Depends on condition of course. But they are really not rare. So depending on condition I's suspect anywhere from $300 to $650. And it would need to be darn near NIB to get the $650.

I always called these "pre-victory" models. I'm assuming 6" barrel with the proper medallion inlay grips. $150-$400 depending on condition and if its all original and matching.

It is 6" Bbl with a silver colour inlaid S&W logo. Ser # on butt matches back of cyl. Production #s on crane and frame match.
Thank you lads for all your comments
