Put 250 rounds through my 715 this morning. Not one hiccup................

Every round went bang and ejected. Totally, 100% impressed! Was a little leary of a Mossberg but now am all smiles!!!! All I did before hand was run a brush through the barrel, now will give it a good cleaning.

Sighted in my r/g dot, targets at 50 yards, ok, I guess.......:canadaFlag:

Thanks for the pics.
Looks like it is of decent quality.

Very much so. For $319 it is a very good investment...............

Im am overly impressed with this plastic gun! The only little glitch was the mags, a bit hard to load at first, but after a couple rounds, seem to loosen up.

I put AE and Cyclones through the gun, it ate everything 100%!

Nice gun !

Very tempted by the flat top instead of going the expensive way with an upgraded SR-22. Where you firing with a Gun rest ?

Thanks

All

Mine likes CCI Stingers and Remington "Golden Bullets", 600+ rds ZERO issues with function. The only real pain is the cleaning process, and the fact you need to remove any optics and accessories to get the shell apart. Other then that, great little shooter

Not sure what happened to the far right target. My grouping is off to one side on that target. The others seem a bit more consitant :)rolleyes:) more so towards the center area.

Either way, Im still pumped on the performance! :D

I found with both my mossys, the flat top and carry handle. Once I put over 1200+ rounds through it, the grouping got tighter. Could be I was just getting more accurate with practice but I think it was more the gun than anything.

Very tempted to get the flat top as my first .22lr, but I my gut tells me I should go with a nice bolt action :) (for my first one... I could buy two at once I guess)

That's the spirit!:D

...and try taking a look at the Savage line-up of bolt actions, for a nice .22.

I have the savage btvs. Very awesome bolt action. If you do a search on the btvs on youtube there are guys shooting between 300 to 500 yards and hitting plates and balloons. This was the first gun I bought, really lucked out. As for the mossy, because its semi auto anything over 50y is a waste of ammoand you should switch to bolt action IMO.

waste of ammo how?

my VTR 597 is a semi and it shoots just as accurate as my Savage Mk2

3" shoot n C' at 100 yards i have no issues putting every shot inside the 3" with a bipod as only support.
