Broken depriming pin

I just broke the depriming pin from my Lee handloader set. Anyone know if these are available or do I have to buy a whole new set?

So I emailed Lee and included a pic, they got back to me stating that the replacement would be free but I'd have to pay shipping. Ok that's understandable, so I add it to my cart and am quoted over $24 shipping. No thanks, I'll try international or wss.

Try a different person at Lee. I just had the same thing happen to me last week and I went on to the Lee Precision website and logged a trouble ticket and included a photo. The next day their support person emailed me and said they were sending out a new part to me free of charge via USPost. GREAT service!

Same experience as CanadianDad. The super elite reloaders may knock on Lee but they turn out a good product for a fair price and stand behind it.

Did you just email the support or did you fill out the online warranty claim form? I've done the online warranty claim a couple times, never got dinged for shipping.

Ask Lee to send by US mail. Cheap and crosses border free.

Or order a pair from Higginson. They stock many Lee parts.

I agree, I have had very good experience with Customer Service at Lee, RCBS & Hornady.


Lyman proved to be very unresponsive to my needs, the lady I spoke to was absolutely miserable.

I ended up stopping in at WSS and buying a new one, I might try sending the broken one back to Lee (couldn't hurt to have a couple)

Humm, looks like Lee may have changed their warranty policy. I just noticed the disclaimer that says the end user will be responsible for shipping. I guess they realized that shipping costs was adding up considerably.

I broke a Lee Universal depriming die, contacted them, they repaired mine, and sent me a brand new one !

Don`t get customer service like that just anywhere.
