I was asked to re and re a ElFaisan-Elgoibar 410 double hammer double/ trigger side by side shot gun that was left in a damp gun bag ...not a good thing to do .. that said the restoration is going good

But on taking apart the shot gun I found the right side firing pin is broken and I need to find a replacement

Any suggestions as to where to find one

Grab a drill in a vise, chuck up a piece of good steel, and use a file to turn it to the correct size. File the retaining notch, and fit to the gun.

I don't see where it's broken... you have the firing pin with the tip intact, the retaining screw and the spring. My brother has the same gun and I had to get new pins made for his.

Yep, you'll probably have to make one which won't be too difficult. If you know someone with a small lathe it's a piece of cake. If not, you can do it with a drill as suggested or maybe even a dremel tool.

make one ...actualy I did not think of that .......was hopeing to find one close and makeing that work ...would still need to fit it ...just about the same amount of work as making a new one I would think ....9.3M that is the left side pin gave the broken one(right side) to its owner ..he thought he might have someone who could get him one ......never made it back to me ......

Take the other (undamaged) pin out of the gun.

Bring that to a machine-shop.

They can copy it, and make a new one.

That's a cool looking gun by the way. (from what I can see of it)

Make sure to post lots of pics when it's all finished.
