Hi All,
I have a magazine that is missing some parts and I was wondering whether I could either acquire or make the missing parts and restore the magazine to proper function.
What I have:
- Body
- follower (rusty but solid)
- base
What is missing:
- Spring
- metal base that attaches to the bottom of the spring and has the little bump that holds the magazine base in place
- metal plate that attaches to the top of the spring and gives a level surface that pushes against the bottom of the follower
Obviously I have considered just buying a new magazine, but these have proven tricky to find. Also, if it can be done cheaply, why not fix the one I have.
The magazine is for a Unique model D4 target pistol in 22LR.
