Broken Mossberg 500

So today at the range I broke my mossberg 500. After shooting I went to engage the safety and a ball fell out. Now my safety won't engage.

Is my gun fubar'd?

According to google......from what I just searched......

These are the parts involved so it looks like a really easy fix.

Any local gun store should be able to order the parts for you.

Unscrew the safety screw and see what broke in there and go from there.

The stock mossberg saftey isn't very good from my experience. I had it replaced with an oversized one that also came with a screw for the saftey if I remember correctly. She's fine now.

You can get a new ball from Brownells. But I would just upgrade to a full metal one while your at it...
