NOt sure where to post this but thought I would throw it out there.
I had to smile to myself today as I was packaging up another rifle to head to the post office tomorrow. I have received all manner of packaging from the various firearms Ive bought, some were meticulously wrapped with care and attention, some not so much. I learned after struggling to find a box when I sold my first EE rifle that is would be easier for shipping to just hang onto some of the the box(s) of the one(s) I get shipped to me and I have noticed by way of numerous addresses on some of the boxes I receive that others do the same.
I am curious how many of you have noticed the same thing, have encountered a box that has numerous addresses, safely transported firearms from one owner to another to be send out again to deliver to the next guy. This box had five (5) different addresses on it.
Anyone find the same?

Your man card has been revoked for that reference.

Er, I guess mine has too for knowing it.

Yep, I see re-used boxes all the time. Sometimes parts of one box melded onto another. A real patchwork... tells interesting stories!

I make my own boxes out of whatever sturdy cardboard I find laying around work or wherever I spot it.
I've become quite the custom box maker over the years! lol
I even used a square and a tape measure to bend the edges perfect etc I can whip them out in less than 10 minutes!

The honorable thing to do is as suggested, remove the old shipping info.
I also detest them folk that forward emails without deleting the other names.
This is how kritters end up getting passed around.

I reuse the boxes but strip off all old addresses. I also wrap the gun in foam and bubble wrap all taped up. The box is fully taped then wrapped in brown paper and re taped. I've had complaints the guns were to hard to get to but they arrived in pristine condition.

Why is it I never have enough boxes to ship guns when they came in a box and I never throw them out? One of life's mysteries.

I usually pack the rifle in a well padded case, then in a box with some stuffing. I always have to make a box as none are ever large enough to protect the firearm.

I usually have some bubble wrap and box or 2 laying around but some times I've had to resort to making what I like to call "duct tape monsters" and I've used straw for padding more than once. :)
