Brown Bess Price

I have a lead ona 39" Brown Bess in good condition. Does anyone have any idea what the going price would be? It has been a while since I have seen one for sale.

If memory serves me correct, I believe I've seem them go at auction for bottom price of $1500 and on up in Ontario.

A lot will depend if it is martially marked. There were military, civilian guns, and guns made for the E.I. Compnay.

Markings will dictate price all things being equal.
