Although it's your rifle and your choice, if it was me I'd leave the parts as is. I am a blatant hypocrite however as I also removed the violet purple bluing from my SVT 40 refurb bolt carrier... I couldn't stand the tinky winky teletubby tone on an otherwise immaculate rifle!
