Old news, and not such a bargain once Brownells applies their $250 "Export License Fee" on top of the Scope's retail price. At least that was the case 2 months ago when I placed and then quickly cancelled an order for that same scope. It turns out that certain optics require the dreaded Export license, and this is one such optic. No joy unless a dealer brings in a bunch of them to offset the licensing fees. I have trouble believing that any Canadian dealer would invest in an AR-specific optic at this particular point in time.....

Hahaha... I did the same thing.

If there was no export licence I could live with the cost of buying the scope but adding another $250 and paying that kind of money for a reproduction simply doesn't justify itself.
