Brownells AR-10 BRN-10 Update

Stag 10 is indeed non restricted with a long enough barrel. Didn’t think to record the FRT #, sorry, but there is one number listed for a non restricted 308 and 4 numbers for non restricted 6.5 Creedmoor.

Still impatiently waiting....

The first units of the BRN-10A shipped yesterday, some people in the USA exect to have them in hand tomorrow. Hopefully a sample gets to the RCMP lab within a few weeks, but it's still a long wait from that point, obviously.

Disclaimer: I am in the US. Your mileage may vary up north.

Brownells is now selling the major parts that go into the BRN-10. I just took delivery of the following parts
1) lower receiver including all small parts that are NOT standard LR308. (mag release, bolt stop, selector, pivot/locking pins)
2) Upper receiver including port cover, sight wheel, and charging handle
3) Bolt carrier group specially machined and correctly chromed to look like a Sudanese AR10.

All of the above were on sale and I am shocked at their prices (catalog link)

I would have bought a whole gun but my intent is to build this modern AR10 variant using as many Dutch AR10 parts as possible, such as the shroud, flash-hider, handguard assembly, and pistolgrip.

The idea to to create a clone of my safequeen Dutch AR10. Then admire the real one, and shoot the clone.
