Unless the rules just changed, this is not correct. As long as the magazine is 10 rounds or less for pistol (5 for semi-rifle) and the company is registered then its not an issue

Bolt head is ok, full bolt assembly requires permit.

what I have found is that most of the time its a crap shoot. 1 company or component might be exportable last year but not this year because the company did not renew their licence or DOS changes their ruling.

Example, I had bought different muzzle brakes from them thru out the decade until 2014. They said Muzzle devices are now no go.

That's because the particular manufacturer of that magazine doesn't have the permits required to have Brownells export that item. But you can order mags from Brownell's, it just depends on the manufacturer.

That's because FN is not registered with ITAR. I've ordered a ton of Colt, S&W and Wilson Combat mags from them with no problems.

Yes indeed try Irunguns to import even from 3rd party venders that they do not even regularly or have never dealt with. I ordered a barrel from ARperformance15.com with the help of IRG.

Insite Arms is a new company that does import as well. I am going to give them a try.
