Browning 1885 High Wall, In 45-70 Government

I haven't been frequenting gunnutz much lately and am pleasantly surprised at the activity on this thread!

I have not had any chances to do much shooting as of late, but will hopefully get some free time soon.

I will need to get a 550 grain mould for this rifle so I can properly get this rifle shooting like it should. Most of my bullet moulds are less than 420 grains.

I will not be shooting this rifle much at 500 yards, but I would like to try to take a few deer with it. I will need to put a proper scope on it before long. My eyes are not as good as they used to be.

A pal of mine in Hungary has an older Weaver K4 on his High Wall in .45-70. Just the right amount of bigification for boar, and it doesn't look too bad, either.

I shot with a guy that had good success with Saeco #748 bullets.
