Very interested.
Is it reliable, and durable, are my concerns ....
Love the design, size, weight, fits my wifes hands perfectly, and she likes it .
Id just like to know if its a piece of junk.

I have one and really like it. Feeds and fires every type of 22lr I've tried through it. But it is small for most peoples hands, which makes proper trigger pulls a challenge. If it fits your wifes hands well, it should be good.

ya the smallness is the best part.
Her hands are very small.
We have both held one.
I can hardly hold it, but it fits her perfectly .
I have a buck mark udx model, and that sorta fits her, but the slabside barrel makes it a bit heavy and kinda awkward for her .

I bought one a few months ago and have put about 1000 rounds through it with only two failures..one due to factory defective ammo, it went pop instead of bang and didn't eject...the other was a failure to feed on the second round of a full mag possibly due to faulty mag loading on my part. I am using CCI Standard Velocity ammo and it is working good.
The gun is very easy to clean due to the take down similar to full size 1911's.
When I first started shooting it my groups were about 10 inches at 7 meters standing with two hands, the scaled down GI sights are a challenge for my ageing eyeballs but my main problem was with the trigger which at first I was jerking instead of a steady squeeze. I have narrowed those groups down to about 3 inches, I am now shooting at 4 inch clays set up on the berm past the 25 meter targets, if I miss a cloud of dust shows where I hit.
I really like this gun which can only be described as "cute" and I find that the extra attention required to shoot it well goes a long way in helping me shoot the full size 1911's better.
Just for fun here is a picture of my biggest gun and my smallest together at the range:

bought mine about three weeks ago. really like it, even though it is small in my hand i cant shoot comfortably. Have put about 1000 rounds through it with only one ftf, put the round in the next clip and it went off fine. Very reliable, i've shot 36 and 40 gr mini mags, blazer, bulk fed, remington, federal 40 grain blue box and maybe a few others that needed to be cleaned up. Seems to like the 36 grain mini mags the best, my best 5 shots at about 10 yrds is 2 inches, but ususally about 3-4 in. My 11 year old has become quite the proficient zombie killer with it. The gun is a blast can't say enough good things about it.

There was a thread a week or so ago on them I had it was great just a bit ammo picky at times but thats the nature of the beast

A few months ago I bought one for the girlfriend to shoot after trying the one my sister in law has. Well, I enjoy shooting it a lot as well. Stingers, AE 38 gr, and Federal 36 gr (525 box). Not one issue yet after 1300 - 1500 rounds. Accuracy is VG out to 25 M. The Federal 525's are the staple food for this little .22. I have had several friends shoot this little handgun and not one of them can outrun the slide with the trigger...It cycles incredibly fast. The only (very minor) problem I have personally had is I have to take a little different grip to disengage the (grip) safety (yup, big hands). My GF and friends have had no problem. Paid $535.00 at P & D...their website says they have them in stock now.

Just get it, you won't be disappointed. I've shot about 3K rounds through mine with only one ftf because it was a dud. Tried almost very .22 LR type...no problems with any. If you want to change grips, Google "Larry Davidson Grips" he has great styles that will fit the little Browning 1911-A. BTW I've only cleaned it twice....still runs like a Swiss clock.

Sparky this is a old thread ,thank you for your encouragement, and bringing the thread back to life, but I have already bought it along time ago now and I have already posted two video reviews of it .
Here is one of the videos if yur interested .

All aluminum slide and frame, steel barrel and bushing, steel insert breach block with firing pin assembly, steel hammer, safety, slide lock, guide rod and mag .
The mag is very good quality and unique in design. its kinda a staggard single stack
