Browning 1911, .22, middle cocking missing

Hi,
I recently acquired a Browning 1911, .22, Mfg. date 2013.
It doesn't have the middle cocking position but otherwise in perfect condition. Has anyone had this problem and is it expensive to repair??

I assume you mean the half #### notch. Is it even supposed to have one?

The half #### is intended to assist in lowering the hammer from the firing to the dropped position.

about the only thing that would have half #### position would be a single action wheel gun most if not all double action revolvers and pistols are either cocked or not. DA only won't even have a cocked position depending on make and model
