Browning 1911-22 vs Other full sized 1911-22's

Here is a picture of a full sized 1911 and the Browning 1911-22, I find the smaller sights on the Browning are a good training aid for shooting the full sized .45's.

I would argue that the GSG makes for a better training pistol than the Browning, but that's just my opinion. The reason I say that is because the GSG is a full-size and damn near full-weight 1911. If your training pistol is smaller and lighter than the pistol that you plan to eventually buy, you can still train in the fundamentals, but you then need to change your grip when you move up to the full-size 1911 and you also have to get used to the added weight. Also, why spend almost as much on the trainer as you will on the "real" 1911?

ill bet that Browning is or would be a fantastic beginner gun for kids.
but not at the current price.
