Browning 1911-22 Where is it?

still waiting... but by looking at the pictures. one thing i would have liked is a flat back and not a palm swell. still waiting waiting waiting.

our local shop has one in a set with a knife...$1200, tempted still, held the pistol felt GOOOOOD!
wanted to know if they were getting any in without the gold leaf, knife, box....no.
this pistol feels good in your hand, like nothing ive ever picked up!
are the chippa 1911-22's 7/8 size?, they sell for around $300 vs $600 for the browning.

no the chiappa is a full size. as are all other .22 1911's hence again as i mentioned.... the appeal for this one to me. the reduced size. it's... the right size for the right calibre haha.

yah but i already had my deposit in with one of the retailers. do they actually have them on hand?

i was at the local shop a few days ago and handled the commemorative model..... now i'm even more excited to get mine whenever i do. they're tiny.

Look at the GSG 1911 .22, with the exception of a few cheap plastic parts its one helluva fun plinker. Ive had 0 issues with it and its 85% interchangable with the real deal best of all it can be had for about 370.

I was at Eli's Hunting and Archery in Simcoe, Ontario this week. They just got some of these in. I handled one. I was very surprised at how small they are and I don't have large hands. I don't know if I still want one. They were priced at $559.99.

muhahaha. so they're finally in the country now? and the smallness... it's exactly what i expected it to be. i'm not a small handed guy haha, i just always wanted a .22 sized 1911.

so... yah... they ARE in Canada now?

Hey...

My buddy just bought one, and I saw it today...it's TINY and LIGHT!

If you can remember back to the little Llama mini 22 cal 1911-like pistols...it's about that size (but not a prohib). He says it shoots very well.

Unlike the GSG pistols, this one takes down just like a full sized 1911a1. He paid about $500 for it.

Cute gun...may have to get one someday...

Ty

well yup. i got mine in the mail too. mighty quick once the store called me and told me they had them. i got it from their first batch of course due to my down payment a while back.

this is going to be a very fun little gun. it is very very very small.... haha. it seems to be built very well and the finish is great.

the trigger however is... kinda junk... but i hope and anticipate that this will get better over the course of some shooting. if not... still a gun that i wanted to have and will keep.

don't have much time these days,... but really looking forward to going out to shoot it~~~

i'll post pictures and things soon hahaha. waaaait for it. christmas and new years has kept me a bit busy. i hope you all have had a merry christmas and a happy new year too ~

Handled one over the holidays at Cabelas in Edmonton while visiting the in-laws. As others have said, its VERY small. Feels very solid! The one i was handling was a Centenial model. so it had gold markings on it.

santa brought me one! he let me play with it for two weeks before wraping it too! i know i am bad! lol!
my buddy tried mine and the next day p/u the last "plain jane" they had!
i love it, seems to eat all amo, unlike my mossy...mostly plinking so far, will have to hang some paper targets, and see how it does.
my 9 year old daughter shot them douible weild...she was smilin!
got a browning "gi" holster for it too...need to post some pics
