I was given this firearm today to sell. I am pretty sure its a t bolt after googling it. I was wondering what I need to know about this .22 and how much I might be able to get from it? Looking online its not much.

It's in pretty good shape other then a chip in then blue.

How is the Bore?
The receiver and barrel might be badly pitted due to a salt cured stock or just bad storage.... but if the bore is good it's probably a good shooter!
If the metal under the wood is nice that's a huge bonus!
Do you have the rear peer sight as well?

I bought one in similar partially re-conditioned shape with a rear peep sight a few years back for around $350 or so if I recall correctly?
How many magazines do you have?

Ill take the gun apart tomorrow I hope its not pitted Under the stock! That would blow! I guess that's a downfall about this firearm? That's the only thing I see wrong with the gun so far. Hopefully its in good shape when I take it apart

It feels like a nice gun! It does have a mag

Ya definitely a T1 browning Tbolt. They're a good rifle, but if it has damage from a saltwood stock, it will affect the value a lot. If you sell it, it will likely go pretty fast, and I'd be interested.

That'll buff right out. LOL If no rust damage to the rest of the action, I'd run some rounds down the pipe to see how it shoots. You just might like it. Mine does quite well with Win 555 bulk.

That rust looks kinda ugly but its not the end of the world. I bet it's still a great shooter. My Tbolt was the most accurate 22 I owned until I picked up a NS522. I'm sad to say my $200 Chinese turd out shoots it.

I'd be interested to know what year it was made. I was under the impression that it was more common for the earlier guns to have the rust issues. Mine is a 1967 and it doesn't have any.
